For over a decade, Yanmala has worked to develop and deliver educational programs celebrating the cultural diversity of Aboriginal people, in particular the Dharug, traditional custodians of the Sydney basin.
Yanmala programs teach:

Early Childhood Learning
Programs designed to engage children in a culturally safe learning environment using sensory and tactile resources and activities to develop cognitive, fine and gross motor skills.
Primary and High Schools
Cultural programs developed to target the Key Learning Outcomes (KLOs) of the NSW Department of Education curriculum.
Welcome to Country
An ancient Aboriginal protocol maintained for 1000s of years to welcome travellers into the traditional lands of Dharug Ngurra (Country).
Guest Speaking
Do you have a topic where you would like an Aboriginal perspective, discussion or focus theme delivered to your audience.
Mentoring
One on one or group sessions to encourage learning, growth and culturally appropriate communication.
Cultural Awareness & Staff Training.
An immersion of culture delivered in your venue or as an ‘On Country’ experience.
Consultation
Assisting business and organisations to connect and engage with the local Aboriginal community for culturally safe advice and projects.
Early Childhood
Children will develop cognitive and practical skills, while learning about the history and living culture of Aboriginal Australians while aligning with ELYF.
Schools
